Wilson High School presents HAIR

Submitted by Jane Alexander

Wilson High School is boldly presenting HAIR, the "rock musical" about the 60s and the movement for pacifism and free-love in a society riddled with intolerance and brutality during the Vietnam War.

High school students don't usually perform Hair!, and some of the material may not be suitable for younger kids (though they've cut out the nude scene and a particularly explicit song), but the Wilson students are uniquely equipped to take this on. They are diverse in a multitude of ways, incredibly talented, and deeply thoughtful about these issues. Don't miss the beautiful spectacle of them embracing this material and this music!

Performances will be Friday, November 13; Saturday, November 14; Friday November 20; and Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 pm with a special matinee performance on Saturday, November 21 at 2:30 pm.

Tickets (Cash or Check only)

Adult: $15 ($10 for the Saturday, November 22, 2:30 pm matinee)
