Glover Park-Farmers Market

From Erica Christensen, director, Glover Park-Burleith Farmers Market

Hi Neighbors,

Folks we only have 3 more markets until the end of the season, which means it's time to start stocking up on all your favorite market foods like those delicious pork chops from EcoFriendly Foods or that creamy goat cheese from Spriggs Delight. There are also plenty of fruits and veggies that keep for a long time when stored well. Things like potatoes, winter squash, onions, garlic, apples, and pears to name a few.

This week we'll be featuring the very popular Fiber Arts Festival. This talented group of ladies will be bringing their beautifully hand-dyed yarns perfect for knitting a new winter hat or scarf, gorgeous pelts and artistically crafted goods. Napoleon the Goat will also be visiting so make sure to bring your kids!

The full line-up of this week's local offerings can be found online

Visit www.communityfoodpartners.com for more information on vendors.

Conveniently located in the parking lot of Hardy Middle School across the street from Safeway at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and 34th street, the market is open through November 21 from 9 am–1 pm.
