The annual awards banquet honoring the police who serve our community is a wonderful community event and a great way to give thanks to those officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

It will be held on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:30–10 pm at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant in Friendship Heights. (Most 30 buses on Wisconsin go there from our neighborhood.)

Tickets are $50 each and include a four-course meal. For anyone wishing to contribute an extra $50 for a member of Second District PD who might otherwise be unable to attend, I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated.
