On Tuesday, August 1, join in our local celebration of National Night Out, a nationwide effort to promote police-community partnerships and community participation in crime prevention. This year, the Metropolitan Police Department's 2nd District will hold the celebration at Hardy Recreation Center located at 4500 Q Street NW.

The event will feature a game truck, moon bounce, 22-foot slide, clowns, face painting, fingerprinting, food and refreshments, and more!
