Join the National Park Service, the Rock Creek Conservancy, and the DC Preservation League to learn more about the historic Foundry Branch Trolley Trestle, one of Washington’s
Most Endangered Places, and remove invasive common bamboo from Glover-Archbold Park.
Tools, gloves, and training on how to identify and cut common bamboo will be provided. This event is labor intensive and suitable for ages 16 and up.
Long pants, long sleeves to prevent contact with poison ivy, socks, and boots or sneakers are required. A head cover such as a hat or a ball cap is recommended.
