Pitching In + Picking Up

From babes in arms to students to community elders, nearly 30 volunteers pitched in and picked up.

Thanks to all of our volunteers who showed up, despite the chilly temps, at Ellington Field on Saturday morning, November 4. We were able to pick-up litter and bulk trash on all the streets and alleys in the neighborhood as well as the Tot Lot and Green Lot. Special thanks to our sponsors: the BCA, Georgetown University Facilities and Office of Neighborhood Life, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and Lenore Rubino of Washington Fine Properties.
