Clean, Cleaner, Cleanest

The june 8 event promises to be warmer than last fall’s chilly clean-up.

Plan to meet your neighbors on Saturday morning, June 8, for the Burleith neighborhood clean-up sponsored by the BCA, Georgetown University, and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. We'll meet at the 38th Street entrance of Ellington Field at 9 am, pick up supplies (gloves and bags), pose for some photos, and then tackle the surrounding streets and alleys to collect litter until 11 am. Please remember to plan for sunny weather and possibly warm temperatures by using sunscreen and bringing water. 

We especially appreciate our volunteers pitching in to spruce up the neighborhood in anticipation of the Burleith summer picnic, which will be held the following Saturday, on June 15.
