Volunteering at Its Best

Burleith has become a lot cleaner thanks to a small but mighty group of volunteers who showed up to pick up litter and bulk trash in our neighborhood on Saturday morning, June 8. Special thanks to the Burleith Citizens Association for supplies (litter grabbers and gloves) and GU Facilities and the Office of Neighborhood Life for providing the trash collection and bags.

With the help of beautiful weather and friendly volunteers with the willingness to tackle anything, we collected many, many bags of trash, cleaned alleys, and collected bulk trash.  If we happened to miss any items, residents should request a bulk trash pick up by contacting  311.
