Santa Goes Door to Door

Laden with a bag full of candy canes, bibs, and socks, Santa made the rounds of 16 Burleith homes on Saturday, December 12, providing Christmas cheer and goodies to more than 30 kids and their loved ones.

In return, Santa was rewarded with smiling faces, laughter, and the occasional shedding of tears from an age group that ranged from 4 months to 9 years. He was also treated to an incredible number of Christmas lists, cookies, and offers of drinks.

As Santa strode out of sight, he received Christmas and New Year’s greetings not only in English but also in French, Spanish, and Czech: Joyeux Noel et bonne année, Feliz Navidad y nuevo año, and Veselé Vánoce a šťastný nový rok!
