We’ve officially made it through winter, and that means it’s farmers market season again. Hooray! Your neighborhood hotspot for all things local, the Glover Park-Burleith Farmers Market kicks off its sixth season on Saturday, May 16.

Many of the neighborhood favorites like Café Los Suenos, Spring Valley, Whisked, Bonaparte Breads, Spriggs Delight, Happy Hen’s, and many more will be back! We are also excited to welcome some new faces and some old, like Number 1 Sons, who was missing in action last market season. In addition to a fantastic selection of high-quality local farmers and food vendors, the market features a free bicycle clinic, live music, a rotating food truck, and number of special events throughout the season.

Conveniently located in the parking lot of Hardy Middle School across the street from Safeway at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and 34th street, the market will be open through November 21 from 9 am–1 pm. For more information on vendors and the market line-up, please visit www.communityfoodpartners.com and the BCA website calendar.
