On May 13, Georgetown Village hosted a delightful cocktail reception for nearly 125 supporters and friends on the rooftop of Washington Harbour. Guests enjoyed gorgeous Potomac River views of Washington landmarks from the terrace of law firm Foley & Lardner LLP, delicious appetizers courtesy of Georgetown restaurants Mama Rouge and Farmers Fishers Bakers, and wine and flowers provided by Nancy Taylor Bubes.

Proceeds from the event will support Georgetown Village, a nonprofit organization that helps older residents in Georgetown, Burleith, and nearby neighborhoods age safely and comfortably in their homes.

Georgetown Village thanks the residents of Burleith who have supported the Village as donors, members, and volunteers. Burleithians over the age of 55 are welcome to join us and benefit from our wide range of support services, educational opportunities, and cultural and social programming.
