BCA Picnic on June 20
/Summertime and the livin’ is easy-breezy and downright fun at the Burleith annual picnic. Get outside and enjoy the rising temps, sunshine (or rain!), with neighbors and friends in Whitehaven Park (Green Lot, Whitehaven Parkway and 37th Street) from 4-8 pm, Saturday, June 20.
This year, we’re bringing back all of the awesome entertainment and attractions you’ve told us you love. And it’s not a picnic without Rocklands (DC’s best barbecue!) plus other delicious food. Town Hall, our neighborhood mainstay, is joining in the fun this year by providing drinks and plenty to gulp.
BCA board members will be on hand to sell Burleith t-shirts, promote BCA membership (new paid memberships will get a free t-shirt!) and Burleith Special Interest Groups, discuss the call box restoration project, and sign up Burleith residents who'd like to learn about residential solar options. Be sure to stop by the Georgetown University table for snacks and giveaways! Come enjoy the vibe and enter to win great raffle prizes! All are welcome! See you soon.
