Join your neighbors for the 2016 fall clean-up sponsored by the BCA, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and Georgetown University, whose trucks will pick up waste and bulk waste. We’ll meet at the 38th Street entrance of Ellington Field on Saturday, November 5, at 9 am and fan out through the neighborhood until 11 am. Coffee and bagels will be served. The Department of Public Works’ Helping Hands program will provide supplies—trash bags, rakes, brooms, and shovels.

Gloves will be available. We encourage residents to focus first on their own blocks/alleys and to bring bagged and bulk trash into the alleys for collection by GU trucks until 11 am. You can also help by doing some weeding at Ellington Field. If you have questions, please contact me at simsjanice2@gmail.com or 333-6435.
