DC State Fair: Sept. 24
/Information drawn from DC State Fair website
The eighth annual DC State Fair will be held Sunday, September 24, from 11 am to 8 pm at Waterfront Station in Southwest DC (375 and 425 M Street SW).
This free showcase of the region's agricultural and creative talents and daylong celebration of all things homegrown will feature contests, entertainment, educational demonstrations, and local vendors.
Make your mark. The DC State Fair relies on volunteers to run a successful event—even before the Fair takes place! In fact, we're on the lookout for social media marketers, community engagers, contest coordinators and fundraisers right now. Interested? Read more on our website or email the Volunteer Committee at volunteer@thedcstatefair.org.
Win a ribbon. Our contests for kids and adults highlight the agricultural, artistic, and even athletic talents of the District of Columbia. We've added more than a dozen new contests to our lineup, including four contests for kids and more live contests than ever before. Check the list online.
Rent space. We're searching for art, craft, food, and drink vendors to rent space at the DC State Fair. Thousands of people will visit the Fair to support local businesses and experience the creativity that helps communities thrive. Becoming a vendor is your chance to reach new customers and demonstrate a commitment to the District. Fill out an interest form by July 31.
Donate. The DC State Fair is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that relies on charitable donations for support. Please consider making a gift today!
