It rained all day, but the weather did not deter people from coming to the 7th annual Burleith gløgg party on Super Bowl Sunday, February 4. Lots and lots of umbrellas decorated the front porch of 3600 T Street, our Burleith home. (Click here for more photos.)

We have hosted these parties as a gift to the Burleith community every year since 53 Burleithians attended the first one in 2012. Since then, the numbers have increased yearly, and this one was by far the largest with nearly 90 in attendance. Each of the attendees wore a name badge, a great opportunity to finally attach names to faces of neighbors each of us sees walking down the streets of Burleith. In addition, for the second year in a row, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser graced the party.
