G-town Community Day
/By Candace Mosely, Special Projects Coordinator, Office of Government Relations and Community Engagement, cbm29@georgetown.edu
Does free food, music, and entertainment excite you? Are you interested in learning more about what's going on in the Georgetown community?
Then stop by Georgetown Community Day on Saturday, September 17, from 11 am to 1 pm, for a day of fun and family-friendly activities. The 4th annual event—where the neighborhood and university come together to celebrate our shared community—will be held on Georgetown University's Healy Lawn at 37th and O Streets NW.
Enjoy free burgers and hot dogs, face painting and balloon artists, a moonbounce, an inflated obstacle course, a kids zone full of games, and so much more. The community fair will include tables from local schools, churches, community organizations, and university departments with information, giveaways, and more.
