On Thursday, May 3, approximately 60 Burleith residents and others gathered at Washington International School for the final BCA-sponsored meeting on historic designation.

Moderated by Michael McDuffie, a new Burleith resident, the open forum consisted of 10-minute pro and con slide presentations by Eric Langenbacher and Walter Hillabrant, respectively, followed by 3-minute statements by audience members representing both sides of the issue. Fourteen people spoke in favor of HD for Burleith, and 10 spoke against.
